Twinkle

Go where you please But dance, my dear Embrace shaking knees Twirl through fear Your heart bruises easy You’re a delicate soul You get this from me And that’s how I know The world will be dark When you learn of its ways But you were born, a star And, a star, you must stay So twinkle, twinkle My precious girl Shed light to those who roam Your luminous gifts will guide this world Leading the forgotten, home

This is a grand write, a positively awesome poem! I just love the reference to being a star and to twinkle! That is beautiful! What an influence you have on your child, so wondrous my friend! She will grow up to be like you, strong, mature, caring, and a loving person! I loved this piece, Great Work!!
