Twinkle
Go where you please
But dance, my dear
Embrace shaking knees
Twirl through fear
Your heart bruises easy
You’re a delicate soul
You get this from me
And that’s how I know
The world will be dark
When you learn of its ways
But you were born, a star
And, a star, you must stay
So twinkle, twinkle
My precious girl
Shed light to those who roam
Your luminous gifts will guide this world
Leading the forgotten, home
