Twilight Throne

I'm the lion-hearted fragrance of basil stars, breathing blames like the Goddess of Hurricanes, but, was this twilight throne, ever mine to tame? I'll forever bleed upon the chess of lies and life, for, my plea is an inkless riot of ruby stains ~ evermore, kissed by the flames of funeral Luna.

A lot of color here. I'm thinking the twilight includes the setting moon. I'm with you that these things are never really owned by us nor are we able to keep them. They display their beauty and go. As for chess of lies and life and bleeding forever...I hope you or the entity involved can come to grips with the loss and whatever worse comes to pass and stop the bleeding. You give me a lot to think about with the way you manage the accompanyment of words. It brings out the detective in me. TY!!!

Very expressive metaphors like- "lion hearted fragrance of basil leaves", "inkless riot of ruby stains", "kissed by the flames of funeral Luna" So very powerful...! Profound, poignant and rather shrouded in obscurity! You stand a level higher than most of the poets here, Hiya.
