Twenty-One Years Later

Questions of my loyalty rise my heart to fight for your love, you know that you and I have been created by the Lord above. Since the first second I saw you, my heart pittered and pattered, and since that day in ninety-six your soul is all that mattered. For we were but kids on a journey sometimes lost, paths to unknown cities and my loneliness paid the cost. But nothing has ever stopped me from believing in you and I, and when I see your sorrow my heart begins to cry. Fears and nightmares can seem real beyond comprehension, but please know how much I love you without apprehension. You stole my heart at sixteen and you have all of me, twenty-one years later we have proven our destiny. If you died today there would never be another man, touching me the way you with your tender loving hands. I feel you gaze at me when I’m not looking and it makes my day, there’s nothing you could ever do to make me walk away. It’s always been just us…always been just you, I see your vulnerability and you see my true value. Lately I’ve been down and you’re there to pick me up, and together we shall drink from eternity’s sipping cup. If you ever doubt again my loyalty and faith in our love, read these sincere verses and thank the Lord above. If I need to shout to the mountains my love so deep, then I shall do it everyday, even in my precious sleep. You are my soul-saving wonder with a light that shines, and sometimes it’s still hard to believe you’re actually mine. You need reassurance…I shall promise with complete devotion, my love for you has always been my strongest emotion. When I die I have one wish for you to realize, it’s how loved I feel whenever you stare into my eyes. Your adored by many but not as much as by me, for twenty-one years later, we have proven our destiny. *dedicated to my wonderful hubby, Nicholas. I love you baby with all my heart and soul!!! It's always been you....* May 6, 2017
