'twas a Night
'Twas a night, 'twas a night!
That just didn't feel right!
All the doors and windows,
Are all locked up tight!
So what could it be,
That's making me?
Stay up all bloody night?
Could it be, oh could it be?
That lil' ol' bumblebee?
Surely it couldn't, oh good golly it wouldn't!
Be that lil' ol' bumblebee!
So what could it be,
That's making me?
Stay up all bloody night?
Could it be, oh could it be?
That I had too many cups o' tea?
Surely it couldn't, oh good golly it wouldn't!
Be too many cups o' tea!
So how could this be a night!
That didn't feel right?
If it was neither the tea nor bee?
Oh good golly that's right!
'Twas no wonder I can't sleep right!
For I forgot to turn off,
My bedroom light!
'Twas a night, 'Twas a night!
That now had felt right!
I'm now bundled in bed,
So what more could be said?
Other than a big, goodnight!
