A dark shadow stalked me within the park tailing me stealthily from tree to tree. Alone with no phone, I wanted to flee but frozen from fear, I hear a dog bark and late at night, there's little light to see. When he says, come here my dear, have no fear, a quiver sends a shiver up my spine. And as he gets near, my eyes start to tear for he gave no sign, he's a friend of mine. The more I'd veer, the more he'd persevere but when I saw 'twas grandpa, all was fine. (Rhyme) 01/31/2020
