Oh where, oh where shall I travel today
Maybe 1940's where life portrayed
In black and white with stars of yesterday
Spectacular performances quite different than now
Alfred Hitchcock movies my favorite--WOW !!
North by Northwest, Vertigo, The Birds, Psycho
Deliciously dark and decadently delightful ~

Or maybe Mexico to Chechen Itza and
surrounding Mayan pyramids
The history and mystique and intrigue
that time and limestone hid
The underground cenotes enveloping the
caves and watery sacrificial graves
These marvels touted to be sacred healing waters
in which the heart and soul could be saved ~

Though might be in an Andy Griffith marathon
weekend mood
Andy, Aunt Bea, Opie, Barney, and all the
Mayberry brood
This show not the same with any other actors
The writers and directors among the winning factors
Life humorously portrayed from back in the day
Sit on the front porch and swing the day away ~

Or maybe to the watery shroud of the Titanic
Most important photos recently discovered in an attic
Providing new clues and photographic evidence
All facts combined now truth makes more sense
Of what precipitated the sinking, a fire in the
engine room to be exact, before leaving
Blackened ship side, as seen in photos
weakened thus unable to survive the
sudden and improbable iceberg impact
Sinking an unsinkable ship ~

So many choices on any given day
Where does your heart want to travel to today
Hopefully you have a big screen TV with HD
And a comfy recliner with remote in hand
Ready to travel to foreign lands, other states
Forgotten eras, presidential debates
Newest digs and newest discoveries
Crimes in real times, crashed plane recoveries
Different cultures, different religions
Animals for food threatened with guns
Times when life seemed so grand and fine
Movies and documentaries, fact and fictional
Westerns, Sci Fi, comedies situational
News shows, stock market closes, Elon Musk
proposed LA underground traffic tunnels ~

All the education and entertainment with a
click of the remote from that comfy recliner
Travels several times daily, life couldn't be finer
To anywhere your heart, or mind, takes you
Tomorrow's a new day, more channels to surf
Thank God for Dish Network, the cost is so worth it !! ~
