Turning To God

As I turn to you once again my Lord The anger burning a hole thru my heart What must I do this time to be restored Why must all of my love have to depart For the devil to just leave me alone Why his demons attacked was unbeknown Praying you will relieve me of this pain Since I'm now using all this hurt to hurt My heart has now slowed weakened by the strain Thick skin keeps my soul totally inert While the undeserved pain turns into sin I'm left to battle the demons within My trust assures God will be by my side Offering his warm embrace full of love And the strength that's needed he shall provide To win my war and reach Heaven above 7/4/2017
