Turned-Table

I did what I did with no regrets.
But I knew one day it would come back.
Turning my head the other way, because...
To look in that direction I rather not.

I was there before I even knew it.
In that same place that you are now.
Clueless but hopeful, for the best I guess.
I knew it has ended but I still couldn't rest.

Sitting at the table with the hand you had.
Playing my cards the same way you did.
Smiling and looking, knowing I would win.
It's your time to loose just as I once did.

The table has now been turned,
Not in your favor I'm sure.
It's written, "there's a time for everything" 
So it's your time to walk out the door.
