Notes About The Poem

Turned On

In the deepest of emotions
A desire to please
Be loved
Caressing tears like the wind
Kissing dreams in creamy lace
Carnal is the heart of seduction
Insane and sublime
Holding both body and soul
To my beating heart
No one shall see my weeping face
Our love was eternal
As you died in my arms

Love and loss need a balance. You wrote wonderful words to express this.

That is beautifully sad, Arthur. Thanks for visiting my poem today! (Oh I looked down and saw Shadow of the past used my same phrase to describe your poem!!)

Pow! This poem defibs the heart, Arthur. Would one kiss bring a love demise back to life? Keep the current turned on and keep it flowing right. This poem certainly does both. Your emotional shades has 360 degrees of depth. Circular logic that always end where it starts. Beautiful prose. Love and smiles always.
