Turn the Page
To love someone so wholly
So completely
Leaves an indelible mark on your soul
I will never love like that again
I will never feel the incredible happiness
Of being the reason there is a smile on your face
Playing like children
Having it end like adults
The taste of you in my mouth
The feel of you on my skin
The mistakes we made together
Never knowing which one
Would be the end of us
We lived our lives
As if there were no consequences
Only to find out there were
