Turn Away From Me

It's just today
How I feel
Hugging you
In bed
As I lie
Next to nothing

From my knees
I can only beg you more
A man incomplete
Am I lovely
Am I all
That you ever wanted

Sometimes
I'm ugly
And sometimes
You're not worth my filth

Sometimes
I know better
And sometimes
I don't

Sundays are perfect
For reflection
Broken mirrors
And less affection

And I won't
be here to see you
But I know
the truth is beneath you

I'll play your strings
I'll fall in season
With the comfort
Your voice brings

I didn't allow it to end
For the wonders of life
Between you and I
Tend to pend
A vertical trust
That horizontally mends

Jerry I really like this, it speaks of my mood today. Great job.
