TULIPS
TULIPS
Is it best to be cool, or maybe hot
If lips are cold, well, certainly not
Yet any is better than if one forgot
The kiss is something to remember
When it feels like a burning ember
Was it tulips that became priceless
Curved and full, with reddish hue
Ideally soft, but quite firm will do
Slightly open as one becomes two
Lips sensitised to a passionate kiss
No first contact is better than this
Was it tulips that became priceless
Slightly moist and never really dry
As two become four all know why
There’s a sensation like being high
It reflects that special connection
And clear sign of mutual affection
Was it tulips that became priceless
