Tulip Tour Time a Pantoum

The tulip crop is in full bloom.
The cars have stopped for miles.
I watch in safety from my room.
Warm weather brings out smiles.

Passengers unload to see the flowers.

Raptly they gaze for hours.

Passengers unload to see the flowers.
The colors are so entrancing,
Raptly they gaze for hours,
Until they know the time's advancing.

Andrea Edwards March 31, 2016 at 10:25 PM This is a really fun little poem! I find that writing Pantoums is even better when they're longer. It's like the farther away you get from those first two lines, the more interesting the ending gets. Do you agree? Anyway, lovely job. I really like how focused you are on the subject and gentle the rhymes are.
