Tulip Festival In Pella Iowa

Tulip festival in Pella
An Iowan Dutch town
Tulip Queen and King, the highlight of parade
Insanely young, possibly high school

Dutch costumes all over the place
Windmills spinning throughout the town
May festival with much excitement
Everyone has a hundred tulips in their yard

Wooden shoes clopping down the street
Clogging down mainstreet in front of Dutch bakery
Where the famous almond flavored Dutch letters are devoured
Before they can leave the bakery

Tulip festival in Pella
An Iowa Dutch town
The one thing you should plan to see
In this lifetime if possible

It is truly fun to see! Everyone is dressed in Dutch costumes, even the wee little ones with wooden shoes.

Thank you Line. If you ever travel to Iowa, come the first of May, so you can experience this in Pella.
