Tsunami

Tsunamis.
Come and go as they please,
Often unannounced.
Like a party crasher at a wedding,
Or a surprise package in the mail.
Unexpected and unknown.

Tsunamis.
Bring chaos and panic,
Tumbling down around you.
Like a thunderstorm,
Or a blizzard,
They can ruin whatever they please.

Tsunamis.
Destruction and terror,
Panic and stress,
Yet, after every rainstorm, comes a rainbow.
New Beginnings, a fresh start.
The light at the end of the tunnel.
