Try To Write Yourself
utilize words that capture what you think about
try to write yourself
into the day
be of a different character that that you know
strike your thoughts down and let them
drive your poetry in order to
learn more about yourself from another side
wouldn't that be nice
if you could speak the way you always wanted
to and take the time to stack all your fraught and
simple shame and smile a purely earnest
smile about this world that was never about
only
you mercilessly discovered
changed your fate in the thick of that
