Truth Or Dare--A Call To Poets

Let me be passionately calm,
            but fiercely resolved.
            That the United States
            will not fall!
            Let the God of Abraham,
            hold this nation together.     
            As our true leaders are berated,
            and small fools dance about 
            in Sambista feathers?
            Where wrong is right, and
            criminality now is cool?
            You cannot simply transform
            patriots into tribal fools!
            And, tragically, to see you try
            and wreck the Constitution?
            Our inalienable rights are contained
            therein, thus for that, there is no
            forgiveness nor restitution!
            Where are the brave American poets, 
            I implore of thee?
            Who will stand for all our freedoms
            at the price of popularity?

I see it rotting from inside ever since the 'Free Speech Movement,' the SDS, and the 'Cultural Revolution' of the 1960's began to peck away at America's spine. I suspect Xi and/or Putin won't even have to send a single soldier over here to take the ole USA. Comrade Bernie, AOC, and the rest will just hand over the keys to the kingdom... He thinks China is our friend? He is a globalist par excellance. Many House and senate members cashing in on China. Our governor orders funky masks from China. He sent them back. In Newsom's mind, the only right thing to do was order yet more masks from the same crowd...wuhan, The Who...liars. Guess Americans have not counted the dead bodies, yet. It's beyond insane. Poetry might be the last door open to truth for us. Will Poets use it? You can tell the answer is NO from the replies. Read elsewhere. Many stand up poets who are anti SOCIALIst, and anti Communists...not here! Took me a long time to get that one. But it's OK. I don't expect it anymore. Pangie xx
