Truth

Hours fly, Mortals die; New days, Old ways Pass by. Hearts stray. Bodies are clay; Sun shines, Moon pines But love stays.

Aptly titled! Short, sharp phrases paraphrasing such beauty and depth. BRAVO YOU!! :))

Truth can not lie. And when morning comes, we've all gotta try. Broken dreams planning new schemes. With a penny in our pocket, we spend our thoughts on anything we can afford. It's a shame when our hearts fill up with a past adored. But hope eternal will send us on our way. The best we can do is enjoy the day.

Tomorrow's quest lyes in jest. A foolish need to see the rest. When loves sweet presence shines today. There's really nothing left to say.

Straightforward, and yet quite profound. Some good observations here, poetically presented. Love, Robert.
