Truth
Some say there is no truth
Others that it’s within them
Many think they’ve cornered it
I say truth is a fragile bird
Descending from heaven
Let it land on your palm
Hold it so it doesn’t escape
With a gentle grip
Lest it fly away too quickly
Caress its feathers
Study its beauty
Its purity
Its strength
Avoid the temptation
To squeeze it tight
To crush it
And as soon as you are ready
Equilibrated
Release truth
To another palm
Outstretched
And then and only then
Will you be free
