Truth

The skies crumble on our toes And our walls fall like Jericho's But like the house of Rahab, We can stand So when we find hurt, Let us heal ourselves together When I neigh, you think I hiss mtcheew! So we are split like fractions Conquered by our exploiters And exploited by our conquerors We have missed understanding, Let us find her together The wars in our heads are worse than those in Sambiza So we jump into lagoons Hoping to quench the fire But that only sends us to the lake of fire Let us find each other's battles And fight them together We are lost to lust That we find each other's fears and make them tears One finds an aisle Another builds a mountain across Let us find each other And tell the truth to each other
