Trump Card

Can we let one single man
bring down a nation so strong
Every choice and decision he makes
is laced with deception and wrong

We will never have peace in America
with an egomaniacal, despot in place
This is America people, rise up
and return our nation to its grace

Not only is ugly on the rise every day,
but a wall is all he has on his mind
He wants what he wants, at any cost,
ways to defeat us, he will always find

Think of the little children, torn
from loving arms and kept in cells
Can they every recover from the agony
of a president's selfish, heinous hells

Death rides on his shoulder, devils
ride on horses with his likeness added
Expense accounts are hidden well
and always find themselves well padded

Economy is in jeopardy, can the poor
survive to find sustenance to keep alive
Some of us go to bed, hunger clawing
at our beings, will the weak and ill survive

Election time is when you need to stand
and mark another name on the ballot sheet
Be brave and smart America, do what's right
or I promise, the devil will rise again to greet

I'm with you 99% --- only those on the other side are exactly the same! Pelosi, Schumer, Clinton, Warren, Sanders, Booker, all of them scoundrels and rats, every bit (!) as bad in their own way as Trump is in his...Read Freddie Robinson Jr.'s poems. He tells it like it is. A pox on ALL of them. None of them is worth a second of our precious time here on Earth... And don't worry Trump and all the rest of them will get theirs, sooner or later... :) gw
