True Strength

If you look to
the palm of your hand
expecting to see
mansions and roads of
gold, you will be sorely
disappointed – it is a
spiritual truth,
forced to use physical
language

literal interpreters of the
Bible, look more to your
heart, and less to your
head

akin to finding a cure for
love, in a medical journal,
when love only became an
illness, when men started
treating it as a virus or
bacteria – love is never a
weakness nor predator, in fact,
our most faithful protector
and strength!

Was reading comments below. I echo what Hiya and Caycay said. They know what they are talking about!

Oh yes indeed, the very sentiments that define spirituality ~ it is not in the physical senses but s matter of realisation and experience, for the heart.. for the soul... for the balance of one's existence... When we are compelled to look within our inner cores! "love is never a weakness nor predator" very rightly said. I so agree with everything that youve said here! Very profound and soul-stirring, the experience of reading your poetry is always so thought-provoking! Sending you stars and cosmic light! 💫💫⭐⭐

INTUITION/SPIRITUAL whispers. A Unity Truth Principal is, 'God is perfect & He made us in His image, ergo, we are perfect & do not inherent illness.' MY BRAIN blocks my way to that truth. Add that to your words below & I concur with, 'live from intuition' aka divine thought. Before Unity, nature was my fav church, still is. Thanks for the fav on my poem (spirit held the pen/happens sometimes.) Seems we could talk, share and grow for many an hour. I embrace this poem & your Soup presence.

Wow! Made my day, CayCay. I have attended a Unity Church. The one I visited was very inspiring. Bits and peaces of truth all around us. Like yourself, nature, learning to observe and listen has taught me much. Everything has variety of voices...vibrations abundant. Blessings my friend.

And yet the physical houses the soul and the spirit...

Well, I'd say you've left my comment in the dust where it may well belong. Thanks for the education, Joe. ~ gw

The physical depends on the spirit. For everything physical, there is a spirit-archetype (more than a pattern, an actual substance relationship). The physical is an outer-dimension (5 sense dimension), so to speak, of the spirit. They are one in the same. They are different parts of the same thing, separated only by consciousness (what we are and are not aware of) (has nothing to do with, whether something is fake or real) (imagined or actual). There are other aspects to being human/spiritual (more than 5 senses -- intuition, for example, is a real substance sense).
