True Poets should be Proud

To all those who perpetually write, sometimes between conflicted thoughts are reeling. It’s not perspicacity in you that you should seek, but the validity of your true feeling. A poem that to you may seem sublime, others would find not appealing.

It’s not the eloquence of your words, but their sincerity in which you may find healing. No one in life can be fair, but try your best not be concealing. Stand proud as all poets should, your true talent you should be revealing.

True poets feel with their hearts, not just what they see painted on their ceiling. How can you ask the blinded to see, if not from within, dazzling they are feeling. It is not just a matter of taste, with words on others you should not be leaning.

Some people will appreciate your work, but others can’t comprehend the meaning. Whenever enlightened, express your emotions, while your heart and mind are convening. If ever critiqued, under the sunlight your words will be dealing. Don’t feel worried or be concerned, if not anyone’s quotes you are stealing.

What good are your words, if it is not the truth they are unveiling. Some words full of wisdom they are, but others your mind could be sealing. Only the weak will give up in life, solely to God, you should be kneeling.
