True Love Trumps All Curses
A knock at the door,
As the door opens to my future.
I see the eyes of a Goddess,
Once lost but now found.
Yet, I still feel the curse lurking.
I look into those eyes,
No life,
No love,
No remembrance of our love.
A fate like no other,
Only the empty destiny that was promised.
A love endured,
A love prophesized thru the ages.
Yet, now she stands before me,
Only seeing a stranger.
My heart breaks.
She smiles as the cloud lifts between us.
I'm surprised as she says,
Did you think a silly curse
Could keep me away from you?
Remember Snow White,
True Love Trumps All Curses.
Holding me close in her arms,
A kiss on my lips breaks the curse.
My sweet wife, I never stopped,
Searching for you.
Come, Lauren, we're going home,
To Olympus, where our children and,
Family awaits.
And they lived happily ever after.
