wrapped in courtesy
and generosity
a brutal predator
protected from you
by a code
to cherish the tender
and vulnerable
the shining knight
you give your love
the dark monster
you keep
your dirty secret
where passion flows
is not your choice
you chose, though
prey he consumes
princess he adores
vile angel
chivalrous beast
match made
in heaven
(and hell)
