True Love
It all comes down to this:
The female is prized
By the male of the species
For her sexual allure
And her ability to nurture.
The male is prized
By the female of the species
For his protective strength
And his ability to provide.
That’s the long and the short of it.
If they can make each other laugh,
That’s most certainly a bonus.
