True Karva Chauth

Vermilion shines, the lamp softly glows,
Joy fills her heart, love gently flows.
Before the moon, her prayers arise,
For her beloved, beneath clear skies.

True love lies not in fasting alone,
It breathes in care, in kindness shown.
Life is not lengthened by ritual or fast,
But by respect and love that last.

Through the sieve, she sees moonlight pure,
A glow of faith, serene and sure.
Not just a vow or ritual to adore,
But a bond of trust, forevermore.

Karva Chauth whispers, soft and clear,
May love stay strong, dissolve all fear.
