True Immortality
From Fragile and dying
To Strong and Eternal
I walked down this path of dust,
I watched my life fade into sand and dusk.
Loved ones fall six feet under,
Foes weaken and break from time.
My undying body strengthens,
My eternal soul fades faster each year, decade, century, and millennium.
The sovereign curse me and plague me.
Death's cold embrace seems non existent.
Death her sweet embrace is the only thing i wish,
She tells me she'll be there at the end.
But how soon is my end?
should I follow her or stand and wait as my sun turns red, skies ripped of their blue and oceans turned to sand?
