I have been fooled many times before, hurt, and had my heart ravaged to the core; sadly, I have learned not to trust, and said 'bye to friends with disgust. See, the problem with me is that I believe, I am loyal, forgiving, much too naive; yet, the end of friendship makes me grieve. I put all my faith in a friend. on me they can always depend; and I will forever defend. But, no more chances- three, fool me ONCE and you go into the sea; now, only "true blue" is the key, but, friends lost still make my tears pour. ________________________ August 14, 2018 Poetry/Rhyme/"True Blue" is the Key Copyright Protected, ID 18-1052-162-02 All Rights Reserved. I grow friendship slow. Yet with full foliage, a storm might sweep it away. I was careful with my friendship and glad it still exists. Some I tried to carry and they just swam away. I love this book I read called “Girlfriends” It spoke of different friendships. A hug for you as close as the touch of key. Love it by the way!!
