True Angels

care and compassion ~
shown by doctors and nurses
towards sick children  ~




My eight week old grandson has been admitted to the children's ward at Cardiff hospital and I have nothing but admiration for the doctors and nurses looking after him.

Doctors and nurses who are committed are indeed angels. My younger son is a Pediatrician. I know how busy he is. He couldn't reach home even on Christmas. Great haiku, dear Tom honoring the life savers.

Thank you very much Valsa, they certainly are, my second daughter is a peadatric nurse. I'll never forget the kindness and care shown to me when I had my Spinal operation on November 2023. Tom

I like this haiku. Tom, I did not know that you lived in Wales. I worked in Solva in Pembrokeshire for many years. And my triplets were born in Abertawe Hospital. The care there was also wonderful. Thank you for sharing and many wishes, Kai

Oy, only eight weeks old. My heart goes out to your grandson for a speedy and complete recovery! … And glad to hear that the personnel at Cardiff is angelic … I'm hear to tell you that medical angels have fled Chicago altogether. (I have the war stories to prove it). Best wishes, Gershon

you are all in my thoughts Tom, hope the little one recovers soon as a parent its so hard to deal with illness when they are so tiny but he is in the best place and I hope he gets well soon. I agree with you the staff really are 'angels' :-) hugs Jan xx
