Troubles

Silent footprints linger on
Angry souls are all but gone
Wishes made to ease the mind
Hopes that freedom they will find

A simple song that's out of tune
A pretty flower rests in gloom
Rose petals dance through symphonies
Loving children reach for needs

A grateful heart must realize
That joy falls not from the skies
We've gotta take our lives and run
The troubles here have just begun
