Tricks
As they’re standing in the rain
Feeling love that’s not in vain
Happiness is now their friend
Paving roads without a single bend
Both are wet and wild with play
Their love will not be washed away
Coldness is not what they feel
This sweet romance is surreal
One more kiss, another hug
Let’s just stay here warm and snug
Let it pour down, we don’t care
Life is beautiful, life is fair
And the rain on hair and skin
Plays tricks on the heart within.
