Tribute To October Leaves
playful orange and brown autumn leaves
singing and dazzling in your fall melody
honoring October in an enormous tribute
raining yourself onto a calendar
that coaxes cooler and more sedate November
exuberant joy as my granddaughter
discovers your love for the first time
