Tribute To Malala Yousafzai

The tears of your suffering, combined with
 
the blood you have shed , irrigates the tree of hope in
 
the garden of humanity
 
which 

aspires to provide shade for all victims of ignorance and 
 
hate! *

* I was asked to write a tribute to Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani activist 
for female education. Malala is the youngest Nobel Prize laureate.

My poem is one of the poems that would be included in an anthology of poems written for Malala which would be handed to her during her upcoming visit to Mexico!
