Tribute To a Farmer

He sowed the seeds in time,
Took great care and watered them all.
Nutrient rich soil he provided them
In wind and fall.
Those tiny seeds, with life within them,
They turned into saplings.
Those saplings, then grew a bit more,
Then changed into plants.
Those little plants then,
Bore many pretty buds
And lovely flowers.
Soon those flowers transformed into fruits.
That tree now had very deep roots.
Like an ox of a man, he toiled day and night.
Every one praised his lovely garden.
Fascinated and spellbound he watched his garden,
Instead of drinking coffee in the cafes of Berlin.
