Tribute From An Angel
I fold my wings and sit and pray,
above hallowed ground.
His body beneath, in earthly form,
his soul, heaven bound.
Yes, to heaven, to be crowned.
As all his comrades in arms came,
in answer to trumpet sound.
I’m glad to fly when I go my way,
not walk on hallowed ground.
I will not walk on hallowed ground.
