Tribute

There is something in the wind tonight
Calling me to listen intently
Carefully to the wisdom it teaches
Paying close attention, sure to get it right

There is something in the wind tonight
A multitude of voices, a chorus
Echoing, ringing clear and true
Urging me closer, I stand as if I might

There is something in the wind tonight
I have struggled so long
I carry my burden with me
All I have left is to fight

There is something in the wind tonight
One voice clear above the others
Coming from inside me now
I radiate a glow intensely bright

There is something in the wind tonight
I have known for some time
That I was the chosen one
Seems the time is now to take flight

There is something in the wind tonight
A warmth comes over me
Enveloping my very soul
My minds eye now has perfect sight

There is something in the wind tonight
The darkness is gone
The fear and misery
Have been replaced by a healing light
