Tribulations

Cloudy skies matching weathered gray eyes
Witnessed so much flooded with red cries

Longing for days with yellow rays good times
Lifting up pain to face warm healing sunshine

Trying to stand strong despite dilemma at hand
Praying holding on God’s help a cherry chance

Recognition of tribulations as His way to lead
You through the storm to His calm and peace

A compassionate and inspiring poem, Karen. That cherry chance phrase sure was cute
