Trees

Each morn' I like to walk among the trees, I love when their branches sway in the breeze; and how they adapt to seasons with ease. October is a gold leafy striptease; and the squirrels walk on a branch trapeze, Winter brings the dreaded long, long deep freeze_ and they look dead of some unknown disease. I wish they would put on their green gowns, please; and become the lush trees of memories.
