Tree of Love
We bind together in heaven's light
in the midst of an esoteric dream,
above us the mistletoe trembles,
its berries cascade down
and seal our fervent lips
we fall as scented rose petals
to the fertile ground below
as the spark of knowing erupts...
we writhe together
as eels in a spiralled vase
and caress with a passioned frenzy,
the feelings never misunderstood,
eyes closed
we evolve into a single soul
entwined in a spiritual vortex,
breathless,
in an ****** of wondrous delight
as above us shines
one of life’s miracles,
the northern lights.
