Tree-Lined Streets

~ Tree-lined Streets ~

Tree-lined streets
   display their wares
brilliant colors everywhere...
   
   I stop my car to stare
   at a somber, stately oak
   whose branches nearly bare --
her fallen leaves reminders of
warm summer days we shared
