Traversing the Channel

It's nice to have a friend,
one who ambles step by step with me
in this world which I live in.
One who walks the same path as me,
sees the same sights
through the same eyes.
Whole conversations conveyed
with just a look, a smile, a wink.
Who gets there first?
We both arrive at the same time
walking knee deep in our perversion.
Bringing forth chuckles and giggles
at the most innocent of happenings.
We few, minds alike,
a cocked eye brow is an entire thought process.
We enjoy our place
parading the ditches in this life.
