Seems like you are telling the life story of most commuters these days, Doris...may sound funny but that's the gist of it. Intresting write. Thanks for reading my 'Elegy To Mommy Del', appreciate your comment.

Sounds like some of the trips I've been on when I used to drive a truck Doris. Yep I agree give me home, and I will not roam no more! Smile. Agape, Moses

Doris, I hate to say this, but I can remember when Atlanta was way worse than it is now. And it is bad now. Charles

Doris, I may have to travel through Atlanta next week when I head to NJ. Is it this bad all the time or just during rush hour? This poem has been on my mind since I read it earlier today and taking another route would add more than a hundred miles to my trip. Hope you have some suggestions that will help me plan. Love, Carolyn

Hey Doris: Great poem!!! There has been a couple of times when I have missed the exit that I was suppose to take and BAM, it cost me a few miles and time to get back on the track. Thank U 4 reading and commenting on my poem (I almost drowned when I was 12). Peace: Sheol

LOL Love the last line and the way it relates to "Home on the Range." Many cities are just as bad, Miami, New York and especially D.C. come to mind. Fun poem, Doris! Love, Carolyn

Went to the big city yesterday. Onlly stalled in traffic a few times. Should have taken an hour to get home. It was two. But we had a good time. Great little poem about the problem. Thanks for your comments on "Kerosene". Yes they mix it of course but definitely use kerosene. Love, Joyce

the joy of vacations, getting lost. my vacations are to cities with rapid transit - that way i dont get lost and dont have to rent a car. great work, and very emotional for those of us that are in the habit of not stiopping to ask for help - us men have this majic direction instinct. thank you, chuck
