Trapped Soul

I'm tired of feeling this way again and again,
Being this close to the edge,
I don't feel safe.
It feels like someone will push me over at any moment.
This sadness, this depression,
Has a deep hold on me,
Like a ball and chain.
Just like a prison,
I'm here locked up tight.
I can't seem to find the light.
I feel trapped.

Sometimes I do lol. It seems that my depression has more of a hold on me than I do myself. I'll be okay though. Thank you c:

just put the ball and chain down....you might like how that sounds....and I know many who say they have tried....but if only they Let The Son Inside....Strength will no longer be a need....because the Soul will then be freed....and with a Free Spirit, depression can never stay....so you could give it a try, it doesn't hurt this way....you paint a vivid image of what many go through....nice work autumn....

We make our own Light, just as you've done in Prose. :)
