Trapped Between Two

Your love is a noose
wrapped around my neck.
If I move too much
I'll be choked to death.
But, if I stay I'll be trapped for life,
the thorns of our past
will eat me alive.
Then another,
loosens the noose and sets me
free,
but shackles be at my hands and feet.
I'm stuck again!
Why can't I see what's right for me!
The noose will stay around my neck,
and the shackles will not let me forget.
As my past and present collide
I am crumpled from guilt
inside.
