Transition

This morning I saw a late winter cardinal Harbinger of spring Redder than red But the color of energy Thrilling Trilling life Throbbing the veil of eternity Specter formed in rare sifted air All the micro-micro macro To any Nth degree Dots.....dots....dots............................ Mini of mini.............................................. Beyond what eye can see Transition to One single speck In isolation And another Then Endless others And within each An eternity

A red cardianl against a snowy backdrop is certainly an attention getter! You do have a way with words Daver. Could almost smell spring creeping in. And don't worry, there is no way we're moving to MO...his health is too bad now, and all his doctors are here...it's hard to switch all that this point. Thanks for your wonderful comments also, Daver. ~Trudy

Yes, I agree with Stacey. You can be pretty heavy duty awesome yourself Mr. Daver. I have Cardinals here all through the winter in NJ. Am I just lucky? Back to your poem - it really sweeps you in, deeply. Love it. Love, Shar

I love the "thrilling, trilling life" of your cardinal, Daver. I also like the way you see the universe as "speks in isolation" to join with others to linger for eternity! (And I will be praying for the jobless and homeless in your area. My heart truly goes out to them.) Love, Carolyn
