Transcending Human Despair
there’s something
about lit night
which cleans
pang of farewell
like a healing balm,
quite potent
in times
when despair
lunges
at raw veins:
yet hope flames
to sing with new moon
and greet fresh enchantment
blest-
as loss grants rebirth.
