Tragic Death of a Child

Like a moth in a candle flame your light went out so suddenly your untimely death hit me so hard my heavy heart is still beating yet it beats in my chest like a lead balloon this terrible news it’s dragging me d o w n I can’t begin to imagine the pain of losing a child at any age here today... gone tomorrow life is so fragile In memory of a Katie Robley - a lovely student I’d worked with at school, she was tragically killed in a car accident at the weekend ... she was just 19, her boyfriend is in a critical condition. I’d just spent 3 days in London with my son and the dreadful news has hit very hard. 10/28/19

Oh Jan, I am so sorry to hear. I agree that when we have children and we hear news like that it hits home. We are more vulnerable then we remember at times. My prayers are with the family of the girl, and with you, Have a wonderful day dear friend. xo

One of my Norfolk ancestors had 23-children, but only 8-survived to become adults. Wars, accidents, pestilence, there is always something that makes time together most precious. Aloha! Rico
