This was originally going to be a one-line monoku... I suppose that with the additional lines, it may be termed a mono-cuckoo!

Tradition

Modern man worships at the altar of technological progress
                         For better or for worse
                              For richer or for poorer
                                    To have and to hold
                                         'Till death do them part
