Toxicity

The tears
They fall
Like a toxic
Rain from
A sky of
Hate

The drops
They burn
So bad
So painful
Like acid

The pain
It hurts
Worse than death

The death
Being slow
Being the hardest
Thing you've ever been through

The love
It touches you
Deep in the soul
Like the hand
Of a parent

The parent
Holds you
As if they were
Protecting
You
From a raging
Storm

That storm
Being the most treacherous
And harmful thing
You've ever
Suffered
